Unveiling Indonesia’s True Colours
What happens when you put 12 of the country’s most talented interior designers together for a unique installation project? The answer to that could be seen at The Colours of Indonesia 2016: Hotel No. 12, a new exhibition concept in the form of design installation at Atrium Senayan City, South Jakarta. Held from 15–24 September, this iconic collaboration between Senayan City and top interior designers known as ID 12, has become part of the mall’s anniversary celebrations since 2015.
With the general theme of ‘Colours of Indonesia’ in mind, this time these designers have undertaken the challenge of transforming the area into a live-scale mock-up hotel. ID 12, who consists of esteemed names such as; Agam Riadi, Anita Boentarman, Ary Juwono, Eko Priharseno, Joke Roos, Prasetio Budhi, Reza Wahyudi, Roland Adam, Sammy Hendramianto, Shirley Gouw, Vivianne Faye, and Yuni Jie have each turned to the rich artistic and cultural elements of Indonesia and used them as inspiration when decorating the room or hotel area of their choice.

Yuni Jie made use of our unique Indira Bowl, a hand-hammered brass wall decoration complete with threaded mechanism, as a wall centerpiece giving a touch of modernism to the elegant Kawung Main Reception. Designer Ary Juwono chose to style the Jumputan Main Lobby with the versatile Boom Wall Sculpture as table decoration. Usually, these individual boom sculptures are attached to the wall with a flat bracket. Fluted Ball Hurricane Antique Brass, and Twig Wall Art Brass perfectly capture nature’s details in a modern and glamorous. Vivianne Faye with her renowned grand and luxurious design, favored our gold-nuanced accessories for a glamorous touch in the Powder Room, using the Gold-banded Hurricane which can be used as a vase as well, Mary and Magdalene, and the Animal bright gold series.
Agam Riadi at Serumpun Bambu Restaurant creatively used Branch Wall Hurricane. Emerald’s color Happy Temple Jar on pedestals gave striking visual attention for passerby in refined sophisticated against the backdrop of luxury room nuances. Prasetio Budhi in a fitted as a glove placement, a top a modern refined cabinet Anyaman Bedroom Boutique, placed Butterflies for Brain element. Anita Boentarman’s use of our Tilt-a-wire create a unique accent in the Sokoguru Bedroom Suite. Sammy Hendramianto in luxurious Songket Boutique preferred home accents with natural elements such as Chrysanthemum T-Lite holder and Corrugated Bamboo Cachepot, our handmade nickel and solid brass cachepot which come with removable powder coated iron inner liners.
The Colours of Indonesia 2016: Hotel No. 12 received positive reviews from visitors and interior enthusiasts alike, who admired the way each room brimmed taste and elegance.
