KLOTS November Exhibition 2018 draws on Autumn undertones in tandem with Alex Bayusaputro alongside other esteemed collaborators. The exhibit unveils a space that is influenced by a tale called ‘The Legend of the Frog Prince’.
KLOTS Home is one of Jakarta’s most prime home furnishing brands. The exhibit is strategically divided into three parts; the installation zone, the living zone and the outdoor zone to boot— each of which paints a different story for its beholders.
As a brand that delivers elegant home accessories and furniture, KLOTS home has left and indelible mark within the autumn-centric room. Starting off, the installation space comprises of elaborate miniature versions of the characters from the tale that are placed on a wooden log, both of which were created KLOTS. Clear attention to detail on their part has made it look very realistic, just as if it came straight out of the story.
Additionally, Bayusaputro’s use of KLOTS’ deĢcor provides a refreshing outlook on the incorporation of luxury home accessories. The autumn leaves printed on the barisol above the wooden log, add to the aura of realism present in the installation zone. The rug by Fio
Social that overlaps the table also manages to represent the stream in which it floats in the story. All of these attributes make this zone lively, and most importantly, a worthy mid-point of the room.
Moving forward, the patterns present on the Missoni wallpaper by Interni Asia behind the Elements Art Space collections’ paintings by Laila Azra blend very well. The living room presents a mix of contemporary facets through its plush Fendi sofas by Magran Group, Italian vases coated with precious metal, as well as new home accessories by KLOTS Home. Small touches of brassy browns and gold bring in majestic flair to the room. All the objects in the room also seem to compliment the warm lighting by Chiaroscuro, whilst the work area resembles a room filled with pleasant memories that invite a feeling of comfort and snugness to the space.
The outdoor area stands out, possessing whimsical character, as it is adorned with landscape setting by Eschol Gardening & Landscape accompanied by elaborate wooden parquets by Dante and sophisticated B&B Italia outdoor furniture by Magran Group. All these interior components combine to create a dream-like glow that oozes luxury with rich wooden floors, aesthetic walls, and lights dripping with sparkle.
